Super Smooth Skin in a Snap!!

Take charge of your beauty!

Many of us are so overloaded with daily responsibilities involving work, friends, and family that we often forget to take care of ourselves, especially our skin. It’s so important to keep our skin looking fresh and glowing, and one of the easiest way to do so is a body scrub! Store-bought body scrubs can go for as high as $40 our body scrub is just as good and 100% organic. Homemade body scrubs are not only cheaper, but they are completely toxin free because you know exactly what’s going in them! Not only is the process easy and quick, but you already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen at home! Plus, this DIY body scrub lasts for weeks!

What you need:
coconut oil
vitamin E oil
brown sugar or salt
essence oil (we recommend eucalyptus and lavendar )
one large bowl

What to do:
Combine 2-3 scoops of coconut oil with 2-3 drops of vitamin E oil, 1-2 drops of essence, and a handful of brown sugar in the large bowl. Just mix everything until it is evenly combined, and there you have it! Easy homemade body scrub! The great thing about this body scrub recipe is that you can eyeball everything depending on your own preferences. So if you want your scrub to be super exfoliating, add some more sugar or if you want it to be more moisturizing, add more coconut oil! Make it your own!

How to use:
When you finish making the body scrub, you can store it in any room temperature area. Just rub the body scrub during a shower or hand wash for 3-4 minutes on any parts of your body that need extra love and exfoliation! Then rinse it off and pat your skin dry with a towel. This is great for bums and thighs!

Gift it!
Handmade gifts are the best because it shows the other person that you’ve spent time and effort to create it. You can dress up your body scrub in a mason jar and tie it with a small bow and even write a label on it! Super cute, easy, and thoughtful! We Need Art, Here's Why.

If there is one constantly changing element in life that gives peace, it’s art. Art in its many forms-dance, music, photography has been able to maintain its integral beauty of interpretation through the test of time. With our hectic lives, many of us have taken  art for granted. If your blinking, then that’s probably you. When was the last time you purchased a piece of art?
Art has the ability of conveying an entire experience complete with emotions and sounds without uttering a single word. Why wouldn’t you want this magic in your home or office?
Take the iconic photograph, V-J Day in Times Square. That one photograph perfectly captured a moment of pure spontaneity and victory as an American sailor kisses a woman among the celebration in Times Square. Although the photo was taken in 1945, we still see variations of it everywhere. Check out the image as a psychedelic mural on New York’s High Line!

Art adds that special something to commonality, and art is everywhere. It’s in nature, buildings, fashion, and even in our homes. So spice up your art life and get creative! express yourself! Pick up a statement necklace, use a colored pencil, purchase a piece of art from a local artist. We need art because art makes us happy.
