Alternately, to save even more, you can design your own and have them printed on recycled paper. FLOWERS What could be more natural than flowers? They’re literally plants! Sadly, a lot of chemicals are routinely used to grow commercial flowers, and those chemical sprays and pesticides aren’t doing Mother Nature any favors. To make sure your flowers are untainted, choose varieties that are seasonal and sustainable, and create the arrangements yourself. A practical wedding has a great guide to get you started. The more you use, the fewer trees there are to hug. But, this one is fairly easy. Technology to the rescue! Most professional photographers use digital cameras these days. Whether you’re hiring a pro or enlisting the help of a gifted friend, stay away from traditional or disposable cameras.
