28on27's Date Night Movies for March!
Going to the movie theatre is the best default date ever—both new and
seasoned couples can always enjoy a movie. However, the similarities end
there. First date movie goers should steer clear of horror films,
chick-flicks, and super melodramatic films. Nothing says “it didn’t work
out” like stress-induced sweat stains after Paranormal Activity.
No matter how well you know your date, here are 28on27’s 3 great movie recommendations for March:
Django Unchained: Although violent, this dramatic film
incorporates comedy, history, love, and action. Two years before the
Civil War, Django, a slave, finds himself accompanying an unorthodox
German bounty hunter on a mission to capture the vicious Brittle
brothers. After they’re successful, the bounty hunter frees Django and
the duo hunts the most-wanted criminals all while looking for Django’s
long lost wife.
Warm Bodies: Horror and comedy mesh together for this
zombie-boy-falls-in-love-with-human-girl film. R, an unusual zombie,
saves a human girl from being attacked by zombies. Slowly, as their bond
grows, a series of events unfold that could transform the entire
lifeless world.
The Host (3/29/13): Stephanie
Meyer has done it again—not with vampires, but with brain leeching invaders.
These invaders have taken over the “normal” human world—violence is gone,
everyone is nice, the world has never been better. Humans have become hosts for
these invaders; their minds have been taken over while their bodies remain
intact. You may realize some Twilight
similarities: one of the hosts falls in love with a human.
Love movies?! , 28on27 is holding movie night on April 3rd!
